David Gibson


David is a DVSA Approved Driving Instructor with a Grade A Qualification and is Pass Plus and Advanced Driving Qualified. An Edinburgh based instructor with over 22 years of teaching experience.

He has continually had a very high first time pass rate during this time, most of his clients passing at the 1st or 2nd attempt. David is a patient, knowledgeable instructor who encourages and enables clients from 17-70.

After an initial training period at a local driving school in Leeds David passed the Driving Standards Agency’s Instructor Qualification at the 1st attempt. Over the next few years he began to train and mentor trainee instructors, through all parts of the Instructor qualification.

David also developed and delivered an off road 4 wheel drive course for the National Rivers Authority. The course educated and informed employees on how to best use their 4 wheel drive vehicles to manage their workload. David has taught as an independent instructor from 1996 to the present day, in various cities throughout the UK.

David continues to develop his tutoring and driving skills through attending CPD courses. Also through his love of and participation in racket sports he has been involved in mentoring and tutoring coaches and delivering coach education courses for Tennis Scotland, Badminton Scotland and Scottish Squash.
